| Description |
It was founded during the first years of the 19th century. Its properties extend on the hills of volcanic origin. The soil is characterized by rocks like: basalto and tufo, it is rich in salts and minerals, prolific fresh and draining. Each vineyard is located according to a careful study of the soil, of the sunrays, of the winds and of the altitude. The remaining pieces of land are cultivated with olive trees and spontaneously growing herbs.
The cave where the wine is matured has a great importance. It is characterized in every period of the year by a constant temperature of 13°C and 98% dampness. It was completely excavated by hand during the first period of the 19th century, when the Ceracchi Family began the activity of viticulture.
The company is still managed by this family. It is possible to visit the company and to taste products. It is possible to buy packages to send wine abroad even in small quantities.
